Three young men arrested for assault in Limassol

Police arrested three persons, aged 16, 19, and 21, for the purpose of investigating a case of conspiracy, possession of an offensive weapon, and assault, committed on May 30, in Limassol.

According to the police, on May 30, shortly after 11pm in Agia Phyla a gang of hooded men approached two other young men in the area and allegedly attacked them. The two victims, aged 20 and 19, were injured in the attack. The 19-year-old suffered lacerations and bruising, while the 20-year-old suffered head trauma, as well as lacerations and bruising. 

Police investigations turned up evidence against the three suspects. Judicial arrest warrants were issued against them, under which they were arrested on Tuesday afternoon and taken into custody.
