'We're Not Kirghizia': Browser Strikes Out Russia's Colonial Name For Kyrgyzstan

A new browser plugin developed by a creative agency in Kyrgyzstan automatically corrects usage of the colonial, Soviet-era “Kirghizia” to “Kyrgyzstan.” But experts say it won't stop Russian officials and pro-Kremlin media from using the old name.
