I’m an Irish Traveller and here’s my trick to keep towels looking like perfection
AN Irish Traveller has demonstrated his tidy hack for folding towels so they’re always neat and tidy.
Posting to TikTok account @mrcleanandshine, he showed followers his neat trick.
He showed off a pile of towels he had seen when he arrived to work that morning.
He said: “So I walked into work this morning, and the first thing I noticed was my towels, they were completely discombobulated.”
He took the towels off the shelf and revealed the folding technique that he uses to rearrange them back into immaculate shape.
He said: “I meet each corner, there has to be twins in each corner.
“And this is the same when you fold it the second time.
“The corners always have to meet, that’s how you get a thicker pile like this and a linear line going down”.
He ended the video with a close up of the freshly organised towels, packed on the shelf to “perfection”.
People ran to the comments to talk about the helpful hack , with one person commenting: “Brilliant, I’ll remember twins from here on in.”
Another commented: “Amazing”.
He previously took to social media to share his simple hack that will keep your bedding looking crisp white.
Those who want their sheets to come out smelling fresh and glistening white may want to give this simple cleaning tip a try.
JP said: “I’m going to show you all today how I do my white bedding I do this on a weekly basis.”
He said his hack will keep sheets “really nice and crispy white”.
JP fills the bath with hot water and mixes in Ace For Whites.
He keeps a kettle of hot water close by and adds Oxi White to the mix.
Next JP gets a bottle of Dettol Laundry Sanitiser.
‘MORE IS BETTER’
He said: “That’s antibacterial laundry sanitizer. Smells nice.
“I’m going to pour a lot of that in there as well. That’s literally half of the bottle gone.
“But I don’t care. As I said more is always better.”
Next he adds Lenor Exotic Bloom.
JP said: “You just want to smell this. This is just absolutely outstanding.”
He mixes all with his hand.
He continued: “When it’s all combined together then I’m just going to get my kettle of roaring hot water and pour it in.
“So now so I’m going to do another kettle of water but I’m going to put my whites in here now.
“Boil another kettle of water and pour it over the top of that.”
JP explained the second kettle of hot water is to ensure its very hot.
Next, more Ace For Whites is poured on top. Then some more Oxi powder is added.
He said: “Because you want to get them really white.”
JP said to give all a “good mix” and let it sit overnight.
The following day, he puts the sheets in the washing machine at 60C with two tablets.
