I lost weight and had a glow-up – people say I’m ‘so much prettier’ now but I don’t like them badmouthing the old me
A WOMAN has shared her weight loss journey with social media users.
While she’s been told she’s more attractive now, she’s not a fan of people talking bad about her old physique.
In a TikTok video, Saige (@saigeburch) showed off how many pounds she lost and shared the common comment she receives about her weight loss.
“You’re so much prettier now that you’ve lost weight,” she wrote on the clip.
While she was proud of where she was at physically, she had a message for people who spoke ill of her old body.
Mouthing along to song lyrics she said: “Take my name out your mouth, you don’t deserve to know me.”
People left her compliments in the comments section of her video, asserting she looked good both then and now.
“Girl you are gorgeous either way,” one person said.
“Respectfully, you were pretty with the extra weight too. Your weight doesn’t define your beauty babe. You’re beautiful,” a second person said.
“Beautiful then, beautiful now. So proud of you,” said a third.
“You look good however you look, and the people that tell you this clearly don’t understand what it feels like,” a final person chimed in.
In another video, Saige showed her glow-up process.
“Very proud of my weight loss and glow up,” she wrote.
First, she showed photos of herself from March 2020 when she was a bit heavier.
She then flipped the script and revealed how she looked after she lost weight.
The weight loss was especially apparent on her face, and she was sure to display it in athletic wear.
Saige was met with more support for her appearance in the comments.
“I don’t even know you and IM SO PROUD OF YOU you look amazing and so beautiful,” one person said.
“Seeing someone with my body type succeed and get results is really motivating me. You look beautiful in both though queen,” a second person said.
