Wilfried Zaha in talks with Champions League giants over shock free transfer but has £40m contract on the table
WILFRIED ZAHA is in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a free transfer this summer.
The Crystal Palace talisman, who is out of contract at the end of the month, has not made his mind up whether to stay at Selhurst Park or move elsewhere.
Zaha, 30, has long made clear his ambitions of playing Champions League football and few would begrudge him a move to the French giants.
However, there is no concrete offer on the table from PSG yet and talks are at an early stage.
Palace are keen to keep their star man and have offered a whopping four-year deal worth £200,000-a-week, which would be the biggest contract in the club’s history.
It’d be worth £40million to Zaha over the length of the contract.
But there is plenty of interest from abroad.
AC Milan have been tracking his situation for a long time and he is also being targeted by clubs in Saudi Arabia.
Following in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and now N’Golo Kante to the Saudi Pro League would prove incredibly lucrative.
And Qatari side Al Sadd were willing to offer Zaha £10million a year.

But the Ivory Coast international is not excited by a Middle East move.
Zaha feels he still has much more to give at a far higher level before considering such a switch.
He scored seven goals and laid on two assists in 27 Premier League appearances this season.
But the ex-Manchester United man missed the final two games of the term with a hamstring injury.
