Vegas fan made it rain in T-Mobile Arena with winnings from $115K Golden Knights' Stanley Cup bet

In the end, confidence and patience paid off for this Las Vegas Golden Knights’ bettor with a lot riding on a Stanley Cup future.

Tuesday night not only saw expansion franchise Las Vegas capture its first championship in franchise history, the victory allowed for some rather unique — and lucrative — betting winnings.

For one, a futures bettor who also had the Denver Nuggets over the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA’s Western Conference Finals and Argentina in the Men’s World Cup can now take home a cool $115,000 with Las Vegas’s Cup win.

And he stayed true to his hockey team. After the Golden Knights let it rain with nine goals in a clinching win, he made some of his winnings rain at their home arena:

After winning over six figures, it’s certainly not how I’d spend some of my money. While some of it, yes, would be spent on a nice dinner and/or vacation, most of those bad boys are going into a savings account.
