Class of ’24 guard Jalil Bethea attracting top schools during Live Period

Jalil Bethea, the 6-foot-4 guard from Archbishop Wood (PA), will draw a number of elite schools this weekend during the first NCAA Live Period.
Miami, Syracuse, Villanova, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, UConn and Kansas are expected in at the Philly Live Event for Bethea, who recently excelled at the Pangos All-American Camp.
Among the schools recruiting him the hardest are Miami, Syracuse, Villanova, Georgetown, UConn and Kansas. He is ranked the No. 4 shooting guard in his class per 247Sports.com.
He will begin planning visits in August.

“Jalil is an efficient 3-level scorer who plays well in a team or one-on-one concept,” said Archbishop Wood coach John Mosco. “He can score in bunches. He has been working on defense and being a complete player. One of his underlying strengths is his passing and getting everyone involved.”
