Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers have traded forwards Max Borovinskiy (04) and Thomas Tien (04) to the Langley Rivermen in exchange for future considerations.
"First and foremost Max and Thomas are two great kids and these deals are never easy to make for that reason," says Head Coach and GM of the Vipers Jason McKee. "We needed to make room for some of our younger recruited players coming into the 2023-24 season. This trade allows both Max and Thomas to play close to home to finish out their junior careers in front of friends and family."
Borovinskiy, from West Vancouver, suited up in 83 regular season games and 14 playoff games in two seasons with the Vipers. Tien, from Richmond, dressed in 41 games after being acquired in November of last season.
Please join us in thanking Max and Thomas for their work with the Vipers and wishing them well in Langley.
