India's Household Consumption Expenditure Survey (HCES) will now include questions on people's subscription spending on OTT platforms, online shopping habits and ownership of electric vehicles and mobile accessories such as smartwatches, said unnamed insiders. The updated survey also seeks to include the latest consumer trends in order to reflect changes in the Indian economy.
