Finland’s refugee policy to go from doing more to doing minimum, says expert
THE FINNISH REFUGEE COUNCIL has voiced its alarm about the asylum and immigration policy outlines forwarded in the newly published government programme.
“Finland has often been the one on these solutions that’s willing to advocate doing more rather than less within the framework of international treaties and commitments,” Annu Lehtinen, the executive director at the Finnish Refugee Council, stated to Helsingin Sanomat on Sunday.
