Police: Woman who suffered ‘extreme physical violence’ found dead in East Hartford home

A woman who suffered “extreme physical violence” was found dead in a home in East Hartford on Sunday.

Officers responded to the home on Martin Circle in the morning to conduct a welfare check, according to the East Hartford Police Department.

A woman was found unresponsive in the home before she was pronounced dead, police said.

The victim, who has not been identified, suffered “extreme physical violence” that caused her “fatal injuries,” according to police.

The incident is believed to be isolated with no apparent threat to the public, according to East Hartford police.

Police are still investigating.
