Mum Monika Wlodarczyk found dead with two kids and husband was murdered as cause of death revealed
A MUM found dead alongside her husband and two children was murdered, police revealed today.
Monika Wlodarczyk, 35, was discovered with stab injuries at home in Hounslow, West London, on Friday.
Her two children Dawid, three, and Maja, 11, were also found alongside dad Michal, 39, after police forced their way into the house.
The Met Police confirmed today they are treating Monika’s death as murder.
They said a post mortem showed she died from multiple sharp force injuries.
Officers did not reveal any further information on husband Michal’s death but said he suffered sharp force injuries to the neck.
Post mortems are due to be carried out on the two children on Wednesday.
Police were scrambled to the home on Friday at around 3.12pm after Maja’s school raised the alarm.
Officers are now trying to establish how long the family were dead for after the youngster failed to attend classes since Monday June 12.
Inquests will open and adjourn into the deaths tomorrow at West London Coroners’ Court.
Detective Chief Inspector Linda Bradley, who is leading the investigation, said: “I would like to assure the community that specialist detectives continue to investigate the circumstances which led to this tragic incident and I will continue to provide further updates as soon as appropriate.
“We are also continuing to support family members at this unimaginably difficult time.
“The situation remains that we are not currently seeking anybody else in connection with the incident.
“We are however retaining an open mind, and I would ask anyone who feels they have pertinent information to contact us as soon as possible.
“Officers remain at the location and forensic examination of the flat is ongoing.”
