The Chase fans spot huge 90s link in contestants names – did you spot it?
THE Chase fans have spotted a huge 90s link in contestants names – but did you spot it?
Bradley Walsh kicked off a new week on the beloved ITV quiz show as he introduced four new players.
However, fans immediately spotted something very interesting about their names.
Brad, 62, welcomed Victoria, Gerry, Mel and Emma to the show.
Viewers were left amused when they realised all four hopefuls had the same names as the Spice Girls.
Taking to social media, one fan said: “Tonight on the chase… The welcome return and reunion of The Spice Girls (WELL NEARLY).”
A second wrote: “Omg the spice girls are on the chase.”
Chaser Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan also spotted the link and mentioned it during the show.
She told Bradley: “Brad they said it couldn’t be done but you’ve done it.”
When he asked her what she was talking about, she said: “You’ve brought the Spice Girls back together.”
Meanwhile, Jenny Ryan looked unrecognisable from The Vixen during a glam trip to the theatre.
On Thursday night, the quiz show host showed off her new gorgeous appearance as she walked down a star-studded red carpet in London.
Jenny, 41 looked worlds away from how she looks on The Chase as dazzled at the press night for the London production of 42nd Street at Sadler’s Wells.
The game show legend looked stunning in a summery blue linen-blend button-down jumpsuit.
She teamed the glamorous outfit with a pair of platform heel white trainers with rainbow coloured bottoms, in honour of Pride Month.
