Jill Biden Will Promote Abortion as Health Care to Mark One Year Anniversary of Dobbs
Jill Biden plans to help her husband promote abortion on demand this week in a series of events leading up to the first anniversary of the life-saving Dobbs v. Jackson ruling.
Since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade on June 24, 2022, the Biden administration has been working aggressively to make sure unborn babies continue to be killed in abortions. Despite the efforts, researchers estimate more than 24,000 unborn babies already have been saved.
Leading up to the anniversary, the White House has a whole week of abortion advocacy planned, including a roundtable discussion Tuesday with the first lady and White House Gender Policy Council Director Jennifer Klein, Forbes reports.
Jill Biden will promote the Biden administration’s “commitment to protecting access to reproductive health care,” a White House official said.
“The Biden-Harris Administration stands with the vast majority of Americans who believe that the right to choose is fundamental and that health care decisions should be made between a woman and her doctor,” the official told NBC.

However, most Americans do not support abortions up to birth, paid for with their tax dollars, and that is the Biden administration’s goal. Numerous polls show strong public opposition to taxpayer funding for elective abortions and strong public support for laws that limit abortions, especially after the first trimester.
At the roundtable Tuesday, the White House plans to promote the wide-spread but false claim that pro-life laws jeopardize women’s lives. Jill Biden is scheduled to speak with four women who allegedly were “denied medical care” as a result of state abortion bans, according to NBC.
But pro-life laws do not ban medical care. They save lives by banning the elective and unnecessary killing of unborn babies in abortions. To ensure pregnant mothers’ lives are protected, every pro-life law also includes clear language that allows doctors to treat life-threatening situations, such as ectopic pregnancies, and miscarriages. Even an abortionist from Planned Parenthood admitted to Congress that pro-life laws allow such care.
According to The Spectator, many doctors say it is abortion activists’ false claims, not the pro-life laws, that are really putting women’s lives at risk.
Yet, the Bidens plan to promote the claim anyway, supposedly in the name of protecting women.
President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband also have plans to promote abortion this week in reaction to the Dobbs anniversary. Among other things, they are expected to put renewed pressure on Congress to pass the Abortion Without Limits Up to Birth Act.
Meanwhile, pro-life advocates plan to celebrate the anniversary with a rally on June 24 in Washington, D.C. The National Celebrate Life Day will be held on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial with pro-life leaders Dr. Alveda King, Kristan Hawkins, Lila Rose, Michael Knowles and others.
For nearly 50 years under Roe v. Wade, abortions destroyed more than 64 million unborn babies in abortions. Now, because of Dobbs, states may protect unborn babies from abortion again. One new study estimates almost 25,000 unborn babies have been saved from abortion as a result of the ruling.
