Lazy mum reveals hack to save time folding clothes – and it divides opinion
A MUM of three has shared the hack she uses to save time when doing laundry.
Some people think it’s genius while others say she is making a big mistake.
Mai says she doesn’t bother folding her kids clothes before she puts them away.
She said in a TikTok video online: “Laundry takes so much time.”
“When you also have to do little children’s laundry it feels like it takes up your entire week.”
The mum confessed she didn’t mind doing laundry but folding clothes and putting them away was taking up too much of her time.
She said: “Truthfully doing laundry isn’t that bad, it’s the folding and putting clothes away that I really don’t like.”
“So my lazy mum’s hack is I just don’t fold my kids clothes anymore.”
Mai says her kids are not bothered whether or not their clothes are folded.
She said: “My three-year-old could care less that I do not fold his clothes
Despite what people think, Mai says her no-fold method does not cause her kids’ clothes to get wrinkly.
She said: “I still put everything away, for example all the T-shirts going here. This one has been sitting in the drawer in the no fold method and their clothes don’t even get wrinkly.”

So who really cares that it’s not folded but put away in the proper drawer so they can find their clothes in the morning all their jammies go down here.
The mum also added the hack helps her spend more time with her kids.
She said: “It saves so much time and you can spend that time with your kids.”
Mai’s video went viral with over 4.2 million views.
One user said: “I’ve done this for years! Only added secret is to stick the pj shirt inside the pyjama pant leg matching set always together!”
Another said: “This is my mum’s hack too! People think I’m crazy BUT my six and three-year-old put away their own laundry and pick out their own clothes every day!”
“Mum hacks only 1 laundry basket and does one load a day and I never have had piles of clothes ever in 4 years. If you put it off it will pile up,” suggested a third viewer.
But some parents were not fans of Mai’s hack.
One user said: “Maybe it’s easier for you, but it’s wrong, cause they are watching and you have to teach them.”
Another said: “Noooo wrong. You fold clothes in front of the tv!!! That’s MY tv time. Lol.”
