TREVOR SALBER CLAIMS SUMMER EVE OF DESTRUCTION CHAMPIONSHIP!

Marshfield, WI, (July 1, 2023) – It was a great summer day of the Mid-Summer Eve of Destruction, and the competitors put on one heck of a show, here today.

The day kicked off with the Burn Out Contest, and Trent Kloth received the first place applause & cheering from the fans, as he sent tire smoke billowing through the grandstands.  Kloth donated his winnings to the Family of Geno Eckes, the longtime flagman at Marshfield Motor Speedway, succumb to cancer last week. 

Another award selected by the fans was the Best Patriotic Themed Designed eve car, Ryan Bentz pocketed first place cash as the recipient of this award.

In our last event of the day, we had a scary accident that involved driver Katie Weaver. Katie is currently in a Marshfield hospital and the Weaver family will post updates on Katie’s condition, on their social media page, once they learn more.  Please keep the entire Weaver family in your prayers.  Special thanks to the Town of Lincoln Fire Department, and track EMT, for their quick and professional response to this incident.

Our next event is next Saturday, July 8th, the running of the John Brevik Classic & WCAR Kid’s Night at the races. Not only will we have numerous giveaways for the kids and a candy drop, you will be treated to one of the best Fireworks Shows in the Midwest!   Super Late Models, Upper Midwest Vintage Series, Super Stocks/Sportsman, X-Treme 4’s, Bandits, and Skidders will all be competing!

Special thanks to Eve Car Mafia Race Team, cleaning up the track after the event is greatly appreciated!!
