Column: Despite a rain delay and safety concerns, the 1st NASCAR Chicago Street Race is anything but dull

Sunday's weather was a huge downer for NASCAR and Chicago, which teamed up to put together what officials repeatedly called a “historic” event — the first street race in the 75-year history of the Cup Series.
