I nabbed a new setting spray but it was such a fail…. people reckon it looks like I’ve used dry shampoo on my face
A BEAUTY fan was mortified after her brand new setting spray made her look as she had used dry shampoo to finish her make-up routine.
Those who live and breathe all things make-up will know what a holy grail setting spray is, especially during hot weather when your beauty products tend to sweat off.
One of those who knows a little about is beauty enthusiast Anyssa Kuba, 25 – however, one of her latest purchases turned out to be a massive fail.
According to the licensed esthetician, believed to be from the US, she had nabbed a new setting spray from the cult favourite high-street store Sephora.
After completing her make-up routine, she decided to give the product a go – and this is where things went horribly wrong.
Checking out her reflection in the mirror, the young woman was mortified when she realised her whole face now was ghost white.
”I literally just sprayed it on my face… What is happening?” Anyssa was baffled in the video.
”This is not okay. Did I get a defective bottle or something?”
Unable to leave her home covered in white dust-like powder, Anyssa said she ended up having to redo her make-up all over again.
However, it appears that the epic flop hasn’t been enough to stop Anyssa from forking out for the product – she revealed she’d give it one more chance.
”Don’t get me wrong – I’m still gonna buy that setting spray. But I just wanna know what happened?” she was seeking answers.
”I just got a couple questions!” the 25-year-old beauty pro wrote in the caption.
