I thought I had found the best wedding guest look – but trolls say they’d feel uncomfortable if they wore it to nuptials
A FASHION fan has been brutally slammed after sharing a snap of a dress she was considering wearing to a wedding,
Finding the perfect dress as a wedding guest can be just as stressful as organising a ceremony – so to seek advice, one woman turned to Reddit to see what others thought of her pick.
The Reddit user, only known as @Jumpy-Way-5625, shared a snap of the maxi frock she had found and asked fellow internet fans what they reckoned of the outfit.
”Is this too white to be a wedding guest dress?
”I think that this is too white to wear as a guest to a wedding. My husband and mother don’t think so.”
To see the verdict from others, the wife also posted an image of the garment in the post.
The sleeveless dress, which retailed online for £55, was described as ”ivory” and came with a dainty floral design.
To go with the white theme, the model in the advertisement had also paired it with strappy white heels.
Shared just a little over a week ago, the post has already caused quite the stir online, where numerous people shared their thoughts in the comments.
Although the partner and his mother-in-law may deem the dress as perfect fit for a wedding guest, the reaction online was slightly different.
One mortified Redditor said: ”YES. That reads as a white dress the pattern is super mild.”
Another agreed, writing: ”Yes. It is far, far too white. Super cute, but not appropriate for a wedding guest.”

”I would be uncomfortable with it as a guest!” someone else added.
A savvy fashionista advised: ”Def too white. I would keep looking.
”If this was something I owned and trying to save money. I would get some fabric dye and use either pink or blue (not pastel) to cover the white.”
”If your husband thinks it’s fine, he can wear it!” another social media user chuckled.
