Mbappe had previously been odds-on at 4/6 to join Real Madrid this summer, but the 24-year-old is now available at 8/11 to stay at the Parc des Princes for another 12 months.
As a result, Carlo Ancelotti’s side have drifted to 5/4 to clinch his signature before the transfer window closes in September.
Mbappe sent shockwaves across Europe when revealing that he would not exercise an option to extend his contract beyond June 2024.
The attacker has since made it public that he intends to continue at PSG for the 2023-24 campaign.
However, ESPN recently claimed the player would rather sign for Real Madrid, who are prepared to make a ‘significant effort’ to bring him to the Bernabeu in the coming months.
Furthermore, French champions PSG would like to sell him this summer for a bumper fee to ease their FFP restrictions, and don’t want to risk losing him on a free transfer.

The Madrid heavyweights are cautious and have a reluctance to speak openly about any potential deal given his late U-turn in the summer of 2021.
And though they’ve already signed Spain international Joselu, he’s been given the No. 14 shirt, meaning Karim Benzema’s No. 9 is still available.
There are very few clubs with the financial muscle to pull off a deal of this size, especially after claims from Marca that Mbappe is requesting a salary package worth £206million.
Manchester United follow at 10/1 with Erik ten Hag desperate to sign a centre-forward, but the Red Devils supposedly withdrew interest in Harry Kane because of the financial situation.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Newcastle are all locked together at 40/1, trailing Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool at 25/1.
