My ‘lazy girl’ pasta meal from Trader Joe’s only takes five minutes to cook – it’s the best tortellini I’ve ever had
A YOUNG woman has shared her “lazy girl” pasta meal from Trader Joe’s that only takes minutes to make.

In a TikTok video, she shared her lazy girl pasta dinner from Trader Joe’s.
She also showed how she added her own food favorites to the already tasty dish.
“Quick and easy dinner? Check,” she wrote in the video caption.
“This is the best tortellini I’ve ever had, and I’m going to show you how easy it is to make,” she said at the start of the video. “This is what I like to call my lazy girl meal.”
First, she boiled a pot of water on her stove, and then poured Prego tomato sauce into a separate saucepan to warm it up.
She mentioned that anyone can use whatever sauce they like, but that particular one happened to be in her fridge.
“If you’ve seen some of my videos you know that I’m obsessed with the spinach tortellini from Trader Joe’s. It literally only takes five minutes to cook,” she said in a voiceover.
For comedic effect, she filmed herself doing a quick dance break while the pasta cooked on the stove.
Next, she returned to her sauce, stirred it, and added parsley flakes and cheese for some extra flavor, but said anyone can add whatever they like.
“I make it super simple and super easy yet those two things add a lot of flavor,” she said.
“I mix the cheese and parsley really well into the sauce so you can’t tell that it’s been added.”
After draining her tortellini of water, she poured the sauce over it in the larger pot.
She let it simmer and sit in the pot for a few minutes, so the flavor from the sauce sunk into the pasta.
Lastly, she heated up a bowl in the microwave for one minute and poured it inside, so it was warm and tasty.
“That was my lazy girl dinner. It only took about 15 minutes,” she said as the video came to a close.
