90 min have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are growing in confidence that they can hang on to Harry Kane despite Bayern Munich’s onslaught.

The report states that despite Bayern’s desire to land Kane, Spurs’ stance on the matter has not changed and they remain optimistic about keeping the striker at the club.

It is explained that Daniel Levy continues to maintain that he will not entertain any bid for Tottenham’s record goalscorer, with the Spurs chairman unwilling to set or discuss any price tag.

In fact, 90 min add that the Lilywhites hierarchy are now increasingly confident that Kane can be convinced to stay, thanks to the impact Ange Postecolgou has had on the club, with the Australian alleged to have made a great impression at Hotspur Way since taking over.

However, the outlet adds that Bayern remain hopeful of snapping up the England captain, with the club’s interest thought to be driven by Thomas Tuchel.

The former Chelsea boss is said to believe there is a chance of bringing Kane to the Allianz Arena and has reportedly convinced the Bayern hierarchy to temporarily halt their pursuits of other forwards such as Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani and focus their efforts solely on the Spurs man.

Postecoglou would not have any issues convincing Kane to stay as the Australian is evidently a fantastic communicator, while the striker knows that he will have the ultimate power as a free agent next summer.

However, it will be interesting to see if Tottenham are tempted to sell if an offer of around £90m comes in or if the club are prepared to take a gamble by letting the striker run into the final year of his deal.
