With Buddha Nullah overflowing following heavy rain on Wednesday and Thursday, hundreds of shanties situated on the banks of the water body were submerged under water early on Thursday, displacing more than 700 inhabitants. The situation was somewhat similar in Harijan Colony were water entered streets and a few houses.
