Najas: Gift Horse

Somewhere in rural Oregon is a source for creating soft spoken folk rock. Singer and guitarist Myco Stassens (vocals, guitar) and niece Meadow Stassens (banjo, vocals) tpped into that when they started Najas. Their debut single Gift Horse is a tale about a hand-me-down, old mare, trying to run away from death, a textbook example of story telling without a gratuitous Hollywood ending.
