'He never thought I would win!' Trump rages against Fox News' Brit Hume
Former President Donald Trump lashed out at Fox News commentator Brit Hume on his Truth Social platform Thursday, repeating his conspiracy theories that the 2020 presidential election was stolen and raging that Hume doesn't acknowledge his supposed actual victory.
"Brit Hume of Fox has really gotten it wrong!" Trump wrote. "First of all, he never thought I would win in 2016, & some things never change. In 2020 I got more votes than any sitting President in history, by far. Biden didn’t get 80 million votes."
"The Election was Rigged, even if you just want to go by the recent FBI/Twitter Files Hoax, or the DOJ/Facebook Scam, or True the Vote, where tapes of millions of Votes are shown being 'Stuffed.' He likes to say I lost, but I didn’t, & my Endorsements almost all won!" Trump continued.
There is no evidence of ballot-stuffing, or of any meaningful election tampering in 2020, and also no evidence that any social media platform tried to rig the election, including in the hyped-up "Twitter Files" posted at the direction of tech billionaire Elon Musk.
Trump has never completely acknowledged that he legitimately lost the 2020 presidential election, frequently claiming with no foundation that the election was fraudulent and even at one point suggesting the Constitution be "terminated" to let him back into office.
However, in some candid moments, he has let slip that he knows he actually lost.
