I’m really into freckles so I gave myself fake ones with henna… it was such a fail – and nothing makes them better
A BEAUTY whizz has left people in hysterics after an epic fail of at-home DIY freckles.
Style enthusiast Lika took to TikTok to share the hilarious flop, after her henna freckles turned out nothing like she had expected,
After letting the henna sit and do its magic on her face for some time, Lika realised she needed to remove the dark dots – but she soon discovered this wasn’t going to be as easy.
At first, she showed in the video, the beauty enthusiast attempted to pick them off with her fingers.
However, despite the efforts, this method didn’t really do much – and she decided to try a cotton pad hack.
This, too, sadly, turned out to be a fail, as barely any of the dried-up henna came off.
Lika then began using her nails to go under the dots and tried her best to peel them of this way – and luckily, some of it worked.
After trial and error, the young woman, who posts under the username @likalifestylee, had finally successfully cleaned off the freckles.
But unfortunately, the effort invested appeared to have been a total waste of time, as social media users were not impressed with the results.
Thousands flocked to comments, saying they couldn’t see a single freckle on Lika’s face.
One wondered: ”Are the freckles in the room with us?”
Another reckoned: ”I’m not sure if that’s real henna but if it is it doesn’t seem dry enough.”

”that’s too much tho,” someone else chimed in.
After going viral and being slammed by trolls, Lika hit back at the meanies – and insisted the end result was not yet completed.
According to Lika – and others who shared their thoughts – henna takes time to develop and turn darker.
