Pundit thinks Tottenham could sell key player for just £10m in January
Former West Ham United striker Frank McAvennie has said that Tottenham Hotspur could look to sell Harry Kane in January for a cut-price fee rather than letting him go this summer.
Over the past few days, multiple outlets have indicated that Bayern Munich are not prepared to give up on their pursuit of Kane.

This includes an update by Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, who stated on Monday that the Tottenham man has decided he wants to move to the Allianz Arena this summer.
However, Fabrizio Romano explained on CBS Sports Golazo on the same day that the deal would not depend on Kane but rather on Daniel Levy.
The journalist revealed that the Spurs chairman still has no intention of letting his star striker leave and is prepared to fight to keep hold of him this summer.
Spurs could only get £10m for Kane in January
McAvennie believes that the sensible thing for Tottenham to do would be to sell the 29-year-old to Bayern this summer.
The pundit told Football Insider: “If he (Kane) stays they will probably want to sell him for £10m in January or something just to get something back for him. They would want something for him.
“If somebody is willing to pay £80m or £90m [this summer] for a nearly 30-year-old striker, I would bite their hands off.”

There is no doubt that selling Kane now for £80m-£90m would be the more sensible move but I suspect Levy might roll the dice and hope that the striker changes his mind about signing a new contract next season if the team shows major signs of improvement under Postecoglou.
The idea of selling Kane for £10m in January is just silly though.
