Report: Turkish club have submitted a loan offer for Tottenham midfielder
Fotomac have revealed that Galatasaray have now ‘stepped up’ their interest in Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
Ndombele is part of the small group of non-international players who have begun pre-season training at Hotspur Way under Ange Postecoglou and his coaching staff.
The Athletic reported a couple of weeks ago that the Frenchman will be offered a chance to impress the Australian and show that he can be part of his plans for next season.
However, the midfielder is seemingly continuing to attract interest, with Vamos Mi Sevilla FC claiming last week that Sevilla, Atletico Madrid and Real Betis were all eyeing a move for the player.
Galatasaray interested in Ndombele on loan
According to Fotomac’s latest update, Galatasaray have now ‘pressed the button’ and ‘stepped up’ their pursuit of Ndombele.
The publication claims that the Turkish giants are keen on adding reinforcements in the middle of the park and have identified the Spurs star as an ideal fit.
The report states that Galatasaray have now ‘forwarded’ a loan offer to Spurs, which includes a €1m (£860k) loan fee and a ‘high’ purchase option.
Spurs Web Opinion
Tottenham do not have much to gain from loaning Ndombele out again.
If Postecoglou decides that he cannot count on the Frenchman, I expect Spurs to cash in on the 26-year-old even if they only end up getting a small fee.
However, that could also be contingent on Ndombele taking a wage cut as not a lot of clubs would be able to pay him even 50 per cent of what we are currently.
