LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie is on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC 290 fighter weigh-ins, which kick off at noon ET (9 a.m. PT).
The early weigh-ins take place at the UFC host hotel in Las Vegas and precede the ceremonial weigh-ins for the fans, which take place at 4 p.m. ET at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The same venue hosts Saturday’s event, which has a main card on pay-per-view following prelims on ABC, ESPN and ESPN+.
Among those weighing in are champion Alexander Volkanovski (25-2 MMA, 12-1 UFC) and interim champ Yair Rodriguez (16-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC), who meet in the main event for the unified featherweight title. In the co-feature, flyweight titleholder Brandon Moreno (21-6-2 MMA, 9-3-2 UFC) makes the first attempted defense of his second title reign when he meets Alexandre Pantoja (25-5 MMA, 9-3 UFC) in a rematch.
