Here are the number of violent crimes recorded by Police for the first four months of each year since since 2016:
- 2016: 16,385
- 2017: 16,802
- 2018: 16,384
- 2019: 17,152
- 2020: 19,932
- 2021: 22,499
- 2022: 23,137
- 2023: 25,318
