I’m an organisation pro – three hanging hacks to make your life easier…your clothes will never fall on the floor again
IS there anything more annoying that hanging up your clothes in the wardrobe, only to find they’ve quickly slipped off the hanger and onto the floor?
Thankfully, the battle to keep your garments hung up could well and truly be over – and it’s all thanks to three clever tricks shared by organisation pro, Beatriz.
First up, she demonstrates how to hang long dresses in short wardrobes – and with summer in full swing, the timing couldn’t be more perfect.
In a clip shared to TikTok, Beatriz (@makelifesimpler_) begins by laying a dress flat on the floor, before folding each side into the middle.
Next, she hangs the bottom third of dress over the centre of the hanger and then places each of the straps neatly in the hooks, helping to shorten the length of the dress.
The second common wardrobe problem the organisation pro addresses is how to avoid clothes constantly falling off the hanger.
And let’s face it – there are few things more frustrating!
To solve the issue, Beatriz suggests tying a rubber band around one end of the hanger.

That way, when the garment leans towards one side, it’s stopped by the friction of the bargain buy.
Finally, Beatriz shows how to hang up trousers without belt loops.
She begins by placing half of one leg through the middle of the hanger, before then folding it back on itself so that it’s folded in half.
The organisation whizz then simply tucks over the second trouser leg so that they can now be neatly hung up in the wardrobe.
The post has since gone viral, garnering an impressive 587k views and several comments from grateful social media users.
“The long dresses hack is also perfect for jumpsuits,” enthused one.
A second penned: “Thank you so much for this video!!! I need to do this for the dresses.”
