Violent clashes have led to the death of one police officer and the injury of at least ten people in Manipur's west Kangpokpi region. Indiscriminate firing was reported from Phayeng and Singda villages aimed at villages and hills in Kangchup's area, officials revealed. The violence is the latest in a long series that started in May, with the death toll rising past 150 people.
