Japan's central bank upgrades economic views for 3 of 9 regions

TOKYO, July 10 (Xinhua) -- The Bank of Japan (BOJ) on Monday revised its economic assessment for three of the country's nine regions owing to strong private consumption following the removal of COVID-linked restrictions.

According to the central bank's quarterly Sakura Report, despite higher commodity prices, the nine regional economies in the country were "either picking up or recovering moderately."
