Lauren Hemp was born on August 7, 2000, and grew up in North Walsham, Norfolk.
Her interest in football started at a young age and she began playing for North Walsham Youth FC.
During the “Where Greatness Is Made” campaign, a plaque was placed at the club for Lauren.
Her youth career began in 2008, at Norwich City, with her sister Amy also playing there.

In April 2022, Ellie shared a picture of herself kissing a cup on Instagram with the caption “Champions” after Wolves won the Northern Premier League.
During her youth career, Butler played for Bristol City before joining Tottenham Hotspur.
