By ADAM ZAGORIA
Jaiden Glover, the 6-foot-6, 195-pound Class of 2024 wing from the Riverside Hawks and the Patrick School, is being hotly pursued by a slew of high-major programs, including a pair of locals.
St. John’s, Seton Hall, Creighton, Virginia Tech, Illinois and Ohio State are among the schools most heavily recruiting Glover, ranked the No. 19 small forward in his class by 247Sports.com.
He averaged 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists while playing on the Under Armor circuit this past week, while shooting 44% from deep.
Glover has several visits set and broke down each school for ZAGSBLOG:

St. John’s: “I really like them, I like how they play. I want to see what the culture is like with Rick Pitino, but their message is they really want me. They like how I play, they like how I shoot, they like how I score the ball.”
Seton Hall: “Coach Shaheen [Holloway] and coach Corey Lowery [watched me this week. Same thing. They love how I score, they love how I shoot the ball, they like how I defend.”
Providence: “They were saying how they really love how I play. They came to all of my games. They watched one of my games with four coaches. At least one coach was at every game.’
Creighton: “Me and them are in contact all the time. Coach DK [Derek Kellogg] is recruiting me. They say that I can fit into their offense really well. They run a lot of pick-and-rolls, They shoot a lot of threes.”
Virginia Tech: “They are one of my most recent offers. They really liked how I played. They saw me at the [NBA] Top 100 Camp. I was one of the leading scorers and they really liked how I played and they offered.”
Illinois: “They offered me a while ago but they picked up on their recruiting recently because their coach saw me out here in Atlanta. I had a couple really good games.”
Ohio State: “[Assistant coach] Jack Owens is the coach. They’re pushing the message that they have a lot of recent one-and-dones and I could be the next one.”
Glover emphasized that his “recruitment is still open” despite these visits.
Wherever he goes, he plans to make an impact as a scorer.
“No. 1 is my ability to shoot the ball and my ability to flat out score the ball,” he said.
He said he hopes to decide “sometime in the fall, like around September.”
Glover will be in Las Vegas this weekend at the Ultimate Championship beginning Friday.
