The opening of the Bihar Assembly's proceedings were interrupted as members of the opposition BJP party demanded Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav's resignation. Following the placement of a CBI chargesheet with allegations of Tejashwi's involvement in a land-for-jobs scam, the BJP entered the well of the assembly to assert their demands. Proceedings eventually reconvened the assembly in the afternoon.
