Of course, there has been previous instances of managers leaving in the summer — most notably when Tony Pulis departed Crystal Palace two days before start of new season.
That’s perhaps why Wolves’ Julen Lopetegui is joint-favourite to leave first at 5/1 with Sky Bet.
Lopetegui’s future was considered uncertain earlier this summer after the Spaniard raised concerns over Wolves’ Financial Fair Play issues and transfer budget.
He’s since reaffirmed his commitment to the club despite the departures of Ruben Neves, Nathan Collins, Conor Coady, Joao Moutinho and Adama Traore – while only Boubacar Traore has arrived.

Paul Heckingbottom is also available at 5/1 having opened at 7/1.
The Barnsley-born manager helped Sheffield United achieve promotion from the Championship but has lost seven of his only ten fixtures as a Premier League boss.
Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper is next at 7/1.
Cooper, 43, guided the club to a 16th-placed position despite being considered ‘on the brink’ several times under notoriously trigger-happy owner Evangelos Marinakis.
New Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola is offered at 9/1, while Luton Town’s Rob Edwards, David Moyes and Marco Silva of Fulham are all locked together at 10/1.
Sean Dyche and Everton are priced at 12/1 to part ways first.
The Englishman defied the odds to protect the Toffees’ top-flight status but their FFP restrictions could prevent Dyche from making any significant additions to his squad.
Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola and Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta are considered the safest roles in the division, with ZERO managerial changes priced at a colossal 500/1.
