Türkiye's current account deficit hits 7.93 bln USD in May

ANKARA, July 11 (Xinhua) -- Türkiye's current account registered a deficit of 7.93 billion U.S. dollars in May, according to the figures released by the Turkish central bank on Tuesday, higher than expected.

Economists participating in the semi-official Anadolu Agency's expectation survey expected the current account in May to have a deficit of 7.03 billion dollars.
