How much would you pay to never think about cleaning your floors again? The top-of-the-line iRobot Roomba s9+ Robot Vacuum doesn't completely automate floor cleaning, but it comes close. However, most people can't justify paying its regular $1,000 price. That's why today's $400 discount on the Roomba s9+ is one of the best Amazon Prime Day deals we've seen, and it might even be one of the best Prime Day vacuum discounts ever.
iRobot is known for making high-tech products. Its top-selling Roomba has become synonymous with robot vacuums. We feature two Roombas in our best robot vacuum guide, including the s9+. The D shape allows the s9+ to get into corners, and it features a charging dock that automatically empties the vacuum's dustbin, automating a task usually done manually after each cleaning. I used the s9+ for months and highly recommend it for individuals who want to make cleaning their floor as effortless as possible. Read our full Roomba s9+ Robot Vacuum review.
Instead of paying the regular price of $999.99, you can get the Roomba s9+ for just $599.99 on Amazon through the end of Prime Day — July 12 at 11:59 p.m. PT — or while supplies last. The best deal we'd previously seen was $750, so this is a huge discount.

The best robot vacuum for hardwood floors and more
In our best robot vacuum guide, the iRobot Roomba s9+ is the best for hardwood floors. In our testing, we spread flour, kitty litter, and coffee grounds on hardwood flooring. Then, we run the vac through a cleaning cycle and assess how much debris it picked up. The s9+ did the best of any robot vacuum we tested, collecting all the kitty litter and coffee grounds while only leaving a trace of flour (a substance all vacuums struggle with). It also performed well on carpeting and got deep into corners.
Many robot vacuums will get stuck on wires and thresholds between rooms. These obstacles were no problem for the s9+. It rarely got stuck. Instead, it completed its cleaning cycle and returned to the home base with no fuss.
iRobot has one of the best apps in the industry (available for iOS and Android) and regularly rolls out improvements. The app allows you to schedule and control your Roomba from anywhere. You can set no-go zones or spot-clean specific areas. It also works with Alexa and Google Home.
I especially like the charging dock that automatically empties the vacuum's debris. The disposable bag inside the dock holds up to 60 days of debris, and the app lets you know when it's full. So, you can just set it and leave it for weeks at a time.
