Danniella Westbrook dating new ‘rich businessman’ boyfriend just a week after split with jailbird fiancé
DANNIELLA Westbrook has started dating a “rich businessman” boyfriend, just a week after splitting from her jailbird fiancé.
Former EastEnders star Danniella, 49, was left in bits when her toyboy lover David, 29, called off their relationship from behind bars.
But a last-minute getaway to Turkey seems to have healed her pain, since she’s hit it off with a local big-wig.
A source told The Sun, “Danniella was heartbroken by her latest split, but she’s quickly found herself a new man.
“She met a wealthy businessman in Turkey last week and he’s been spoiling her with presents. Danniella loves being in his company and is over the moon with her latest romance.
“It’s still fresh but she does genuinely like him and will continue travelling back and forth to see him.”
The actress had been seeing her ex on-and-off for seven years before their relationship imploded last week.
The Sun understands he has been serving time for counterfeit goods and engaging in various physical altercations.
A friend told us at the time: “Danniella was heartbroken last night.
“Both Danniella and David have decided to cancel their wedding plans and, it seems, their whole relationship.
“She has spent nearly seven years travelling all over the country to visit him but it seems the closer he is to coming home, the more the cracks are showing.
“They have both just changed so much since they first got together.”
Scouser David is due to be released from prison in September and she had been planning a romantic getaway for them both to coincide with her 50th birthday.
Danniella also said their official engagement would take place at the Secret Cabins, a luxury destination in the Sussex countryside.
The pair met when they both lived in Spain in 2016, but they’ve suffered ups and downs throughout their relationship.
However they stayed in touch and, when he was sent to prison in 2019, they both decided to rekindle their romance.
