Gogglebox fans go wild as show’s favourite celebrity pairing make shock return
RYLAN Clark and his beloved mum Linda are returning to Celebrity Gogglebox, they revealed today.
The TV presenter and his mum Linda joined Celebrity Gogglebox in 2019 and took part in two series before the pair took a break in 2021.
It comes after fans were left worried the the show favourites didn’t appear in the new series after the line-up was revealed.
But fans won’t have to wait much longer as the duo are set to return to our screens very soon.
Rylan shared a snap of him flashing his pearly whites alongside his mum and wrote: “We’re back…Gogglebox.”
A flurry of delighted fans raced to share their excitement, with one writing: “Woohoo normal service resumes, happy days – you two make Gogglebox.”
Another chuffed viewer commented: “Thank Christ for that, there’s some right boring celebrities on at the moment.”
A third added: “So so happy to see you both. You’re both absolutely fantastic.”
Some viewers noticed show regulars Rylan and Linda were missing from the reveal and voiced concerns on social media.
One person commented on a Gogglebox Instagram post: “They’re all amazing but am slightly heartbroken Rylan and Linda aren’t here.”
Another asked, “No Rylan???” while one more declared, “I won’t be watching it now C**p.”
But it was confirmed earlier this month that the pair feature in the new series.
Nick Grimshaw’s cousin Liv, as well as Bez and Shaun Ryder, Paul Sinha, Big Zuu and Tom Allen will all be coming back too, while newbies include Davina McCall, Tom Grennan and Katherine Ryan.
Meanwhile, Rylan will soon be busy filming his new BBC travelogue alongside Rob Rinder.
The Sun recently revealed he’ll head straight from filming his current project — reality show The Bar, on Zante, Greece — to Italy for the new show.
Rob And Rylan’s Grand Tour will see the pals set off on an adventure to tread the path of hedonistic 19th Century poet Lord Byron, guided by his letters and diaries.
Together, they’ll also retrace the steps of countless English aristocrats who took what became known as the Grand Tour — the original gap year.
