However, the Hammers could face competition from Italy as, according to French journalist Ignazio Genuardi, he is also part of Roma’s shortlist of targets this summer.

The Serie A giants are in the market for a forward and are considering several options in the ongoing window.

West Ham’s Gianluca Scamacca is believed to be their top target but they are also looking at other strikers.

And Diallo is claimed to be one of the forwards that Roma are considering at this stage of the window.

Strasbourg could sell him if they receive a big enough for a striker who has two years left on his contract.
