I chucked pesto over my white sofa & I thought it was a gonna – until I coated it in a 3-part secret solution overnight
A CLEANING fan has shares how she was able to restore her white sofa after she split pesto over it.
The cleaning fan said she was surprised such basic products were the key to bringing her white sofa back.
Felicity Smith shared her white sofa transformation in a TikTok video online.
The cleaning fan explained her first attempt at fixing the spade made things even worse.
She said: “Cleaning my white couch after I spilled pesto pasta all over it and then ruined it and after trying to clean it more”
Felicity’s followers told her to use hot water vinegar and washing up liquid.
She said: “I listen to all your advice and I use this concoction with hot water, vinegar, and Dawn dish soap.”
Felicity also tries the baking soda methods.
She said: “And I also put baking soda over it. Afterward, I vacuumed it.
“I did this a few times, and this was the result,” she added.
It wasn’t until the next day that Felicity tackled her spade again.
She said “After leaving it overnight, as you can see, there are still a couple of spots left.

“So I use this next concoction, which is oxygen boost peroxide and baking soda.”
Felicity said: “I started to dab it on, but then I remembered we need to aggravate it So that’s exactly what I did.
“I left it for a few hours, covered, and vacuumed it up.Patted it to make sure it was dry, and it is. For the most part.”
Felicity ‘s video racked up over 1.7 million views online.
One user said: “Oof the fabric is starting to look rough from all that baking soda.”
