My neighbor said he missed seeing me hang out in my hot tub – I’m accepting contributions to pay for a privacy fence
A WOMAN has discovered that her neighbors actively watch her while she sits in her outdoor hot tub.
In a video, the influencer asked her viewers if they’d like to donate funds for her to build a privacy fence so they can no longer see her.
TikToker Kelsey (@kbards2) has more than 65,000 followers on the social video platform.
Her videos consist of her vlogging about her life and participating in viral challenges.
A recent clip showed Kelsey chatting straight to the camera about an interaction she had with a neighbor.
It opened as she pressed a hand up to her forehead and looked despairing.
Kelsey said: “So I’m outside mowing my grass, doing my own thing.
“My neighbor from the alley comes up and, you know, we have some small talk, and he points over to the hot tub.”
She smiled and laughed ruefully as she told her story, acting out the chat she had with her unnamed neighbor.
She continued: “He’s like, ‘So why haven’t you been in the hot tub here lately?’ And I’m like, ‘Oh, it’s been cold and I didn’t want to get in so I just turned it off and didn’t want to pay to have it run.'”
She said: “He was like ‘Oh, that makes sense, we missed seeing you out in there.'”
The camera zoomed in as Kelsey repeated: “We?”
She goes on from the neighbor’s point of view: “‘Oh yeah my wife and I, we can see you from our back porch and we just sit out here and we see you sitting in it.
“It’s always nice, you always look like you’re having a good time.'”
Comically horrified, the content creator then covered her eyes with her hand while laughing.
She finished: “So if anybody would like to contribute to a privacy fence, you know that would be greatly appreciated.”
Commenters were shocked at Kelsey’s revelation, making suggestions and joking about the attitude of her neighbor.
One said: “I’d start coming out in scuba gear like full rescue diver.”
Another imagined that “The next day they look over and an 8ft tall privacy fence built overnight.”
They weren’t the only commenter keen on a fence. One person said that they “would pay for one fast.”
