Kamru Hathile left his wife Mamata, who supported the family by working as a domestic laborer, without any explanation after securing a position as a commercial tax officer. Despite difficult circumstances, Mamata supported Kamru's study preparations as a domestic helper and bookstore worker. He has now gone back on his word to offer a monthly allowance of INR 12,000 ($160) after acknowledging in court that Mamata is his wife.
