Windsor Locks police arrest wanted woman leaving Hartford Hospital
Police from Windsor Locks arrested a woman who was wanted on multiple warrants as she was leaving Hartford Hospital on Monday.
Investigators were notified that 25-year-old Alicia Morgan, who currently resides in a Windsor Locks hotel, was going to be leaving Hartford Hospital on Monday, according to the Windsor Locks Police Department.
Morgan is involved in an ongoing investigation by the department, police said, and was wanted on three outstanding warrants and rearrest orders.
Detectives waited for Morgan to exit the hospital at 80 Seymour St. in Hartford and took her into custody without incident. She allegedly had 40 small bags of fentanyl and 2.8 grams of cocaine in her possession, according to police.
Morgan was arrested on the warrants stemming from multiple prior charges related to drug possession and violating a protective order, police said.
Court records show that Morgan was arrested in Windsor Locks in September 2021 and charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, use of drug paraphernalia, failure to appear in court and four counts of violating a protective order.
She was charged with violating a protective order and failure to appear in court in Windsor Locks again in July 2022, according to records.
Morgan was being held in lieu of bonds totaling $90,000, police said.
