Emmerdale fans work out shocking DNA twist for Jai Sharma and his cousin Sunil
EMMERDALE fans are convinced they have worked out the DNA mystery between Jai Sharma and newly introduced cousin Sunil.
Sunil Sharma arrived in Emmerdale soon after Jai received the shocking new that he was adopted.
The Hunk was introduced on screen wearing a yellow jumper and jean jacket as he peeped through the windows of his uncle Rishi’s house.
He then attempted to get in and looked for a key under the mats and plant pots. He found the key under a rock and entered the house.
Laurel entered the house, which had been left wide open and shouted: “Rishi? Tom?”
Rishi followed behind as they both saw a mysterious figure pass by.
Rishi warned: ” I don’t know who you are, but I’m calling the police.”
Sunil then lifts his hoodie, revealing himself, and replied: ” Alrite, uncle Rishi.”
Rishi pleasantly replied: “Sunil?”
After the explosive episode aired, Emmerdale fans took to Twitter to share their assumptions.
A viewer of the show tweeted: “So this is the new Sharma, is it? How long do we give it before he and Jai are revealed as brothers rather than cousins?! #Emmerdale.”
Another followed it with: “Are Suni and Jai really brothers.”
A third questioned: “Wonder if Sunny miserable dad is Rishi too #Emmerdale.”
A fourth claimed: “The new character will end up being Jai’s half-brother and Rishi’s brother Jai’s real dad…. #Emmerdale.”
Chris Bisson, who plays Jai Sharma, welcomed his on-set cousin Sunil, who is played by Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana, to the cast in a heart-warming Twitter post where the two are in a snapped selfie together on set.
He captioned the post: “There’s a new Sharma arriving in Emmerdale tonight. Please welcome @brahmdeo_bsr playing Suni. First episode tonight. Tune in @emmerdale @ITV @ITVX #Emmerdale”
Emmerdale airs tonight at 7.30pm on ITV1.
