Report: Senior Spurs player has received three offers from interested clubs
The Telegraph have revealed that Hugo Lloris has three different offers on the table as the goalkeeper looks set to seal an exit from Tottenham this summer.
Lloris’ eleven-year spell at Tottenham looks set to come to an end during the current window with the long-serving captain admitting back in May that he is now looking for a new challenge away from N17 (Nice-Matin).
Tottenham have already secured the services of Guglielmo Vicario from Empoli, with the Italian expected to inherit the number one shirt from the Frenchman.
During his first press conference as Spurs boss on Monday, Ange Postecoglou refused to confirm if Lloris would be departing and the Australian also insisted that he has not given much thought to the question of who will take over the captain’s armband if Harry Kane also heads out of the exit.
He told Football.London: “As I said, even that, around the captaincy, it’s just not at the forefront of my mind right now. What’s at the forefront of my mind is to try to establish where we want to go as a football club and trying to be as clear to people as I can about that, about me and all these kind of things.
“Because if I start thinking about all that kind of detail right now I’m going to miss the opportunity to really establish some of the fundamentals of what I want us to be.
“In terms of the squad, we’re in that stage like most clubs where you kind of know that there will be activity between now and the start of the season and the end of the window and there will be some players who won’t be here and some players that will come in.
“Again in my mind I try to keep that with the understanding that until something is certain I’m not going to commit myself either way to whether a player is going to be here or not. There’s no point in wasting energy on something that may or may not happen.
“So far the lads we’ve had in have been excellent. They’ve been brilliant with the staff in adapting and implementing the things I want and we’ll keep moving along. We’ll get the rest of the squad back in the next couple of days so it will be great to see everyone in the building.”
The 56-year-old also revealed backup goalkeeper Fraser Forster and midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur will not fly with the rest of the squad to Australia and Asia due to their respective injuries.
The Telegraph have now suggested that Lloris may also be left back in London when the squad flies out to Perth later this week as a result of his time at the club likely coming to an end.
The 36-year-old currently has three offers on the table but the identity of the clubs who have made those offers have not been revealed.

The fact that Hugo does not seem particularly close to sealing an exit right now suggests that none of those three offers appeal to him. It is quite possible that one or two of those offers might have come from Saudi Arabia. I suspect that the goalkeeper would be keen on returning to Ligue 1, especially to former side Nice.
