The Shinde camp has strongly opposed Ajit Pawar being given the finance ministry portfolio and has accused him of bias while handling the portfolio when the MVA was in power. They also do not want the rural development ministry and co-operative departments to go to the NCP ministers. Shinde has been put under tremendous pressure from the Sena MLAs not to allow this.
