Stellantis, of famed Italian autos, pledges to build 1 million per year

ROME, Italy: In an effort to reverse a downward trend in auto production, Fiat parent Stellantis and the Italian government said they aimed to jointly increase annual car production in Italy to one million units annually.

The statement came after Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares met Italy's Industry Minister Adolfo Urso in Rome earlier this week.

After the meeting, the two sides agreed on the need to boost v
